Dr. Dipayan Chaudhuri, the lead ACT physician at Oak Valley Health, specializes in critical care and is committed to enhancing access to clinical research within the community. He is supported by co-champions Dr. Paul Lee, a specialist in internal medicine, and Dr. Anthony La Delfa, an expert in infectious diseases. Together, with the centralized Office of Research, they focus on building a robust research program across the organization, emphasizing community-centered research. Oak Valley Health, located in York region within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), serves a diverse community, including a large immigrant population. The organization collaborates with local healthcare providers and academic networks to strengthen its research capacity. Research areas include critical care, internal medicine, infectious diseases, emergency medicine, oncology, and pediatric endocrinology, as well as midwifery and family practice within our teaching unit.
